Responsible play
Last updated August 2026
Playcation is a skill competition, not a way to make money. Entry fees are spent the moment you join an instance, and most entrants do not finish in a prize position. Treat every entry as the cost of the game.
Know your spend
- Every paid entry is listed in your wallet ledger on the Stats page — check it regularly.
- Decide a weekly entry budget before you play, not while you are on a losing streak.
- Free play is always available and uses the same generators as paid instances.
Signs to step back
- Entering to win back what a previous entry cost.
- Playing longer or more often than you planned.
- Hiding entries or spend from people close to you.
- Feeling anxious, irritable or low after a run.
Cooling-off and self-exclusion
Ask the operator to place a cooling-off period on your account and paid entry is blocked for the period you choose while free play stays open. Self-exclusion closes paid entry indefinitely; it can only be reversed by contacting the operator after the stated minimum period.
Under 18
Paid entry is limited to adults. If you believe a minor has entered a paid competition, tell the operator so the account can be closed and the entry refunded.
Getting support
If competing with money has stopped feeling optional, contact a support service in your country. In the United States, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is available at 1-800-522-4700, 24 hours a day. In the United Kingdom, GamCare runs a free helpline on 0808 8020 133.
